MARATHON RUNNERS

FRIENDS OF YELLOW CAB TO JOIN IN THE HP MARATHON FUN!

HOUSTON (Jan. 12, 2005) – On Jan. 16, 2005, Yellow Cab Houston will be a key sponsor of the HP Houston Marathon, Houston’s largest single-day sporting event. Combined with the Aramco Houston Half Marathon and the Houston Press 5K, more than 15,000 participants, 200,000 spectators and 5,000 volunteers will take to the streets of Houston either walking, running, wheelchairing or cheering.

Yellow Cab Houston would like to invite the friends of Yellow Cab to join its volunteers at the event and help cheer on the runners. Those wishing to join the volunteers for “Team Yellow Cab” are encouraged to wear their Yellow Cab shirts and arrive at the corner of Hardy and Quitman Streets at 7 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 16. Yellow Cab will provide breakfast for our friends and guests at this Texas-sized event.
