EXPAND EXECUTIVE TEAM

Houston (August 24, 2004) –– Yellow Cab, Houston’s only computer dispatched taxi fleet, announced today that Robert P. Rugg has joined the company as President of Yellow Cab Houston and Raymond Turner has been named president of Texas Taxi, the parent company of Yellow Cab, enhancing its strong executive leadership team.

"Bringing Robert on board and moving Raymond into a more strategic role strengthens and adds depth to the executive team and further helps enhance Yellow Cab’s presence in the transportation arena of Houston."

Rugg brings expertise in both business and sales leadership to YCCH. Prior to joining YCCH, Rugg managed the Houston division of the largest provider of motorcoach charter and tour services in the North America. Rugg is a board member of the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau (GHCVB) as well as a past member of the organization’s member nominating committee. In addition, Rugg is a member of Greater Houston Hotel and Motel Association and former Chairman of Houston Community College of Business Advisory Board.

Turner served as CFO of Texas Taxi prior to being named president of the company. He was previously vice president of finance and later regional vice president of the largest provider of motorcoach charter and tour services in North America where he led the company through its start up, I.P.O. and growth into a $1 billion operating company. Turner is currently president of the board of Mt. Carmel High School and is a member of the Rotary Club of Harrisburg. Turner also serves as the president of Meadowcreek Village Civic Club and is a member of the citizen advisory committee for Council member, Addie Wiseman district E.
