SPECIAL OLYMPICS ATHLETES TOOK A VERY SPECIAL RIDE WITH YELLOW CAB TO HOUSTON COMETS GAME

YELLOW CAB CONTINUES TO SHOW COMMUNITITY COMMITTMENT

Houston (Oct. 1, 2004) -- Special Olympics Athletes recently rode in style to the Toyota Center for the Houston Comets game – all in Yellow Cabs and all at the same time. Ten Yellow Cabs picked up and transported these special athletes to the Toyota Center to watch the Comets vs. Minnesota Lynx game.

"This donation reflects the dedication of Yellow Cab and our commitment to making a valuable impact on the Houston community." said Robert Rugg, President of Yellow Cab Company Houston.

Earlier this season, Yellow Cab purchased 500 Comets tickets and donated them to the Clutch City Foundation, the charitable arm of the Houston Rockets and Comets, for distribution to various charities throughout the Houston area.
